Glenskirlie Castle Wedding

Glenskirlie Castle Wedding

Craig and Clare’s Wedding

Craig and Clare chose the contemporary Glenskirlie Castle for their wedding reception. After the wedding ceremony in Saint Michael’s Church in Dumbarton, we chose to make a detour to The Glasgow Art Gallery before going on to Glenskirlie.  The Glasgow Art Gallery, with its stunning architecture, provided us with a superb opportunity for creative wedding photographs. Clare was a beautiful bride with a great smile and the good weather added to the pleasure of photographing such a lovely couple.

Patrick and Debbie’s Wedding

It was off to Solsgirth House near Dollar in Kinross-shire for the wedding of Patrick and Debbie. They were such a great couple to photograph and their friends all joined in with the fun of the day, as you can see from the photographs shown below.

Solsgirth is a fantastic venue for Scottish weddings with its location in 30 acres of woodland. It has panoramic views and many art nouveau features, as well as a stone terrace with arches, providing a great backdrop for wedding photographs.

George and Christine’s Wedding

George and Christine were married in the lovely Culcreuch Castle Hotel, near Stirling. We were fortunate to have a dry day right up to the end of the wedding photography session, when it began to pour.  The Castle offered us a variety of photo opportunities with its lovely lawns and extensive, secluded woodland behind the Hotel, complete with a charming wooden bridge. George and Christine were such a fun couple and  a real pleasure to photograph.

Ross and Linda’s Wedding

It was off to Ayrshire recently – one of my favourite parts of the country – for the wedding of Ross and Linda at the Piersland House Hotel on the outskirts of Troon.

The weather on the day was truly atrocious but despite this we managed to make full use of the charming features of Piersland House. The hotel is situated on the coast and has lovely manicured lawns and stone arches, both of which provided some great photo opportunities.

Ross and Linda  - Best wishes for a wonderful future together and I hope you have a great time in Mexico.

Piersland House Hotel is  a wonderful Ayrshire wedding venue, located by the sea on the outskirts of Troon, on the edge of the Royal Troon Golf Course. With its beautiful gardens and sun terrace, and its secluded location,  The Piersland is an ideal Ayrshire Wedding Venue, and a favourite with Ayrshire Wedding Photographers. It is not only situated close to Prestwick Airport but is also within easy reach of Glasgow via the M77 motorway.
