Wedding – Balmoral Hotel Edinburgh

Wedding – Balmoral Hotel Edinburgh

Niamh and Colin’s Wedding

Well what can I say about the wedding of Niamh & Colin other than lets say, different. What a blast of a day with the bride turning up with a fantastic Dolce and Gabanna dress, with a personality to match. It was great fun running around the streets of Edinburgh looking for all the different backgrounds for their wedding images.
Niamh & Colin –  a big thanks to you both for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding. One thing is for sure, I will never ever forget your wedding day …. it was a blast. Hope you like the images I have posted  here and look forward to catching up with both of you soon.  Have a great honeymoon which I am SURE you will.

Edinburgh is a great city for a Scottish Wedding. Not only are there numerous great hotels, but also many alternative wedding venues for brides looking for a unique Scottish wedding, including Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Niamh and Colin chose to marry in the Balmoral Hotel, a contemporary, luxury hotel in the heart of Edinburgh with views of Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town, within walking distance of some of Edinburgh’s luxury department stores.

Tathiane and Jamie’s Wedding at Fernie Castle

Tathiane and Jamie’s Wedding at Fernie Castle

The venue of Fernie Castle was chosen for the wedding  of Tathiane and Jamie and what a good choice it was, as it provided a great backdrop for the wedding photographs. The venue even lent itself to great interior shots for the couple’s wedding album.

Although the weather wasn’t playing ball with us on the day, we got a good few shots outside in the rain. Thanks to Tathiane and Jamie for being such a fabulous Bride and Groom, it was a pleasure to be part of your special day!
The happy couple are now on honeymoon in Brazil where all their friends and family who couldn’t make it to the wedding will get a chance to celebrate with the couple in pure Brazilian style….mmmm wonder why I was not asked to take some honeymoon pictures in sunny Brazil. Oh well back to the rain in Scotland.

Nikki and Paul’s Wedding | Cameron House Hotel Wedding

Just had the most fantastic wedding with Nikki and Paul who decided to have their wedding at the CAMERON HOUSE HOTEL on the banks of Loch Lomond. They were married by the Reverend Ian Miller who really does start the couples wedding day with fun and most importantly laughter due to his humorous jokes and outgoing personality.

I know both of you will  have a great honeymoon in BORA BORA, LOS ANGELES and then onto LAS VEGAS,and hope you like this small selection of images from your wedding day, take care and see you both on your return to Scotland.

Kate and Allan’s Wedding | Ross Priory Wedding

Kate and Allan’s Wedding | Ross Priory Wedding

Once again I found myself at the beautiful location of ROSS PRIORY, on the banks of Loch Lomond, for the wedding of Kate and Allan, and maybe, just maybe, this is the venue where the sun always shines. Once again it shone for the duration of the couple’s wedding, and we made the best of it in this stunning location, with of course the amazing walled garden – a dream as a background for wedding photography.

Kate and Allan were an fantastic couple to photograph and wanted my style of arty wedding images mixed in with fun images of the day, of which I know we have plenty, as the whole day was a blast with family and friends who were up for anything photographically that I could throw at them.

Hope you both had a fantastic honeymoon.
