Amy and Sean’s Wedding

Amy and Sean’s Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing the small intimate wedding of Amy and Sean at the stunning location of DUNS CASTLE near North Berwick .

The couple who live in Australia made the journey to Scotland to get married and are now on a 3 month tour of Europe which I hope is going well for them before they fly  back home.

The castle was  a fantastic backdrop to their wedding photographs and thankfully the weather was great on their special day.  I hope their close family and friends who attended the wedding enjoyed their time in Scotland.

Amy & Sean, I hope you have a lovely honeymoon and thanks for giving me the opportunity of being part of your special  day.

The beautiful 14th century Duns Castle is situated amongst rolling hills in the small village of Duns in the Scottish Borders. This romantic Scottish castle venue has stunning grounds and the wedding party have use of the gardens, tennis court, billiard room and croquet lawn. The castle provides a stunning backdrop for iconic Scottish wedding photographs.

Gary and Tracy’s Wedding

Gary and Tracy’s wedding was held at Saint Serfs Church in Tullibody, and, following the ceremony, we made our way to the Glenbervie House Hotel in Larbert, for the couple’s wedding reception. Glenbervie House Hotel proved to be a fantastic place for wedding photographs. With a sweeping tree-lined driveway and Victorian manor house there was ample opportunity to capture some great photographs for the album.

Bruce and Deborah’s Wedding

Bruce and Deborah’s Wedding

Bruce and Deborah were married at Napier University, Edinburgh and held their wedding reception at the Craighouse Campus. As this was the first time I had ever photographed a wedding at Craighouse I was really looking forward to the new challenge.

The venue, with its gothic and classical features, baronial hall, and entrance staircase with feature roof lights provided ample opportunity for photographing the bridal couple. Set in the grounds of a local nature reserve with veranda views over Edinburgh, the venue also allowed for outdoor backdrops for the wedding album.

Craighouse boasts outstanding views over Edinburgh and out to the Firth of Forth. For the wedding breakfast, it offers the baronial style Turmeau Hall, complete with oak panelled walls and twin fireplaces. It is also possible to hire the Edinburgh Suite rooms in conjuction with Craighouse, ensuring that no other events or weddings will be using the same facilities on the day.
