Kirsten and Scott’s wedding at Markinch Parish Church and Balbirnie House

Kirsten and Scott’s wedding at Markinch Parish Church and Balbirnie House

Fun fun fun was the order of the day at the wedding of Kirsten and Scott who were just about up for anything to make it a day of laughter and smiles. Even trying to get them to do some serious shots for their wedding album was quite difficult as they just wanted everything to be fun – I hope I have captured that in their wedding images (in fact I know I have!) Their wedding day started at Markinch Parish Church and then we drove the short distance to my favourite wedding venue Balbirnie House Hotel for the reception. We hope you both have a great honeymoon and thanks for making it such a great day to photograph, your family and friends were fantastic.

James and Gemma’s wedding in Dumbarton and Sherbrooke Castle

James and Gemma’s wedding in Dumbarton and Sherbrooke Castle

The wedding of James and Gemma was a wedding I had been really looking forward to because I have been good friends with James’s parents Michael and Donna for more years than I care to remember and I have watched James come from a baby to the accomplished musician that he is today. Their wedding was held at Saint Patrick’s Chapel in Dumbarton and then after the ceremony we went to Pollock Park for some of their wedding photographs to be taken and then looking at the dark clouds above us it was time to move on to their wedding reception at the Sherbrooke Castle. We hope you both have a great honeymoon in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Jennifer and Scot’s wedding at Glasgow University Chapel

Jennifer and Scot’s wedding at Glasgow University Chapel

Jennifer and Scot’s wedding service was held at Glasgow University Chapel, which is one of my favourite venues for photography due to the grandeur of the location. After the service we took the short journey to the Glasgow Art Gallery, which is also a fantastic location for wedding photographs before making our way down to the picturesque location of the Duck Bay Marina on bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. We hope you both have a fantastic honeymoon in Mexico and look forward to catching up on your return.

Nicola and Ben’s wedding at Balbirnie House Hotel

Nicola and Ben’s wedding at Balbirnie House Hotel

What a party the wedding of Nicola and Ben was on Sunday at the Balbirnie House Hotel. It was one of the most fun weddings I have ever attended with their family and friends who were just a crazy bunch of people! Nicola and Ben were a lovely couple who gave me the time on the day to produce some great images for their wedding album. Another thing that was such a good thing to do at the wedding was being involved in the making of a pop video with Steve and Stuart from Design Scotland Video. It was a blast and so funny, I am so looking forward to seeing the final cut of the video as it will be hilarious! The reception was a party to remember with the added bonus of having singer Andy Abraham from the X Factor singing some songs for the first dance. I hope you both have a wonderful honeymoon in New York and Antigua.

Don’t stop me now …………having such a good time …… you bet we did!

Catriona and Murdo’s wedding at Dowanvale Free Church and St Andrews in the Square, Glasgow

Catriona and Murdo’s wedding at Dowanvale Free Church and St Andrews in the Square, Glasgow

What a pleasure it was to be the photographer at the wedding on Friday of Catriona and Murdo at Dowanvale Free Church in Partick and then the reception at the beautiful venue of Saint Andrews in the Square in the heart of Glasgow. On the way to the reception venue we stopped to take some images at the Glasgow Art Galleries which was great because just as the couple came out of the church the heavens opened with torrential rain so it was great that we had the galleries as a back up for the couples pictures. The family and the guests at the wedding joined in for the fun group shots which was great, but the one thing I must remember the next time I have a wedding at this venue is to put money in the parking meter……….! Have a great honeymoon guys and I look forward to seeing you both on your return.
