Jennifer and David’s wedding at the Lochgreen Hotel, Ayrshire

I took the journey down to Troon on the Ayrshire coast for the wedding of Jennifer and David who got married at the beautiful Lochgreen Hotel. The day was sunny and warm and we took the time to go to Troon beach for a few shots and then returned to the hotel to greet the guests.  I hope you both are enjoying your honeymoon and look forward to seeing you both on your return.

Elaine and Stewart’s wedding at Airth Castle

Elaine and Stewart were a fantastic couple to photograph on their wedding day on August 6th at Airth Castle, Falkirk and as the Scottish weather was not behaving itself, we had to shoot a lot inside which was great as we could use this brilliant venue which gave us great backdrops to use for their wedding photographs. Many thanks guys for all your hard work on the day and I hope you like the images I have posted here.

Lucy and Christopher’s wedding in Devon

I recently had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Lucy and Christopher at Langdon Court in Devon for my good friend Louise Sumner who could not photograph their wedding due to having a family bereavement.
It was a fantastic day,and the weather was sunny which was more than I can say about the weather they were having in Scotland on that day. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to my assistant Sean for all his hard work, and considering we had never worked together before he did a remarkable job for me on the day.

August 17, 2010 - 8:42 pm Audrey Plaistow - Gordon, I was looking at these photo's with my friend Mandy and OMG beautiful, beautiful, was all we could say! You have captured a serenity, an ethereal quality in Laura's stills that takes my breath away. You encapsulated the fluidity of nature, creating a lasting image by reflecting their obvious love and snatched moments of togetherness. Thank you for such wonderful moments in time. Best Wishes Audrey

August 18, 2010 - 4:30 pm Laura Murphy - I am absolutely thrilled with all of the photographs I have seen so far and it's filled me with great anticipation and excitement to see the rest! You really captured the mood of the day and used the surroundings beautifully to create amazing backdrops. Your direction and inventive poses on the day really helped everyone to make the most of the photographs they featured in. You did a brilliant job and everyone who has seen the photos so far has been stunned by them

Carlene and Scott’s wedding at St Columba’s Church and Glenbervie House Hotel.

The wedding of Carlene and Scott was brilliant fun and they were a great couple to photograph and were up for anything on the day!  For me that is what makes great images. The couple picked St Columba’s Church in Stirling and then onto the fantastic wedding reception venue of Glenbervie House Hotel,Larbert.  Hope you are both enjoying your honeymoon in Dubai and the Maldives, you lucky people and I shall see you both when you return to rainy old Britain.
